Philosophy and aims

We recognize that the early years of a child’s education before school
are immensely important. Kindergarten is a place where children can
immerse themselves in a rich learning environment that encourages
both play and growth.

Our program and activities at kindergarten focus on developing each
child’s physical, social, emotional and intellectual skills and is designed
to meet their individual needs.

Our basic aims are:

  • Children discover they can do many things and they
    are people of worth
  • Children discover what they do affects others. They
find ways of working and playing collaborating
    and cooperatively
  • Children find ways to express feelings in socially
    acceptable ways
  • Children begin to assume responsibility for
their behavior and develop their independence
  • Children develop the ability to express their ideas through
    art, music and language
  • Foundations are laid for maths, reading and writing
